Working at Brains
The scheme of courses, rules and regulations of the BRAINS Postgraduate College have been designed to meet international standards. The latest addition to our degree programs in affiliation to the Peshawar University are BBA (hons) and MBA, which are being introduced from the fall 2008 semester. Semester system now Substituted with term system of the Institute of Management Studies of the University of Peshawar is strictly followed. This implies that the performance of students will continue to be evaluated through a continuous testing procedure spread over the entire period of studies. Each term will conclude with a final
examination carrying 40% of the total marks. It will be preceded by three monthly examinations and a number of tests, term papers, assignments, presentations and short quizzes. We have established strong examination system run by the controller of examination to conduct all internal examinations, supervise external examination, Internship and fieldwork programs are compulsory requirements of the degree programs. Students are required to complement their classroom learning with work experience through internship with leading public or private sector organizations in relevant fields in the later part of their
degree programs.
BRAINS has an equally qualified Faculty and operates in an excellent academic environment with uninterrupted schedules strictly followed by the students and Faculty. The college has well equipped computer labs and well stocked library. The library contains books covering the Intermediate, Bachelor and Master program as well as diploma programs. The computer labs also provide E-mail and internet facilities for students and staff.
