FA / F.Sc / FCS / ICS (BISE Peshawar)
Mindful of the future needs of students, BRAINS launched its first F.A / F.Sc Program in affiliation to Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Peshawar from session 2000-01 with the sole objective of producing a very special breed of budding professionals, who attain their Bachelor and Master degrees under the same roof and are groomed with real strength of character and professionalism, so that they can boldly face the challenges that lie ahead.
Intermediate is a well-knit, two year multi discipline course of study, leading to the award of F.Sc / F.A certificate by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Peshawar. The academic program is supervised by an experienced and high profile committee, which not only monitors the academic performance of the students but also helps to create a congenial atmosphere for students to develop their latent personality traits.
ELIGIBILITY
Candidates must have passed SSC (Matric) examination with at least 2nd Division.
SEND UP/DETENTION EXAMINATION POLICY
- Send up examinations are held well before the last date for receipt of admission forms with normal dues, as announced by the BISE Peshawar.
- Admission forms of only those students are sent to the Board who qualify in all the subjects with 40% pass marks in the send up examination.
- Admission forms of students, who fail in one subject, but secure 25% marks in that subject and 40% aggregate marks are sent to the Board provisionally.
- The College does not send admission forms of students, who fail to fulfill the minimum attendance of 75% as fixed by the Board.
PRE BOARD EXAMINATION POLICY
- Pre-Board examinations are held about four weeks before the last date fixed by the Board for receipt of examination admissions forms with double fee.
- All students including those who qualify the send up test are supposed to take the examinations.
- Admission forms of students who fails in a maximum of two subjects, but secure at least 30% marks in the subject they failed and yet manage to secure 40% marks in aggregate are sent to the Board.
