M.Sc Mathematics

The School of Mathematics offers Bachelor and Master degrees in Mathematics in affiliation to the University of Peshawar. In
today's advanced age, technologies continues to play a  pivotal role in the scheme of “Science Education”. No scientific social
research can be effectively carried out without a grasp of Mathematical Techniques. Thus it has become an integral part of our
academic disciplines. Mindful of the future of the students, BRAINS launched its Master program in Mathematics in affiliation
to University of Peshawar from session 2004/05. The program is launched with the sole objective of producing a very special
breed of budding professionals in the field of Mathematics, who attain their Bsc degree leading to two years Master degree
under the same roof and are groomed with the real strength of character and professionalism, to  boldly face the challenges
that lie ahead.

Eligibility

Candidates  must  have  passed  B.Sc.  Mathematics-A  &    Mathematics-B  examination  in  at  least  2nd  division  from  any
recognized University with minimum of 45% marks in the subject of Mathematics-B. For admission to the B.Sc program 45%
marks in intermediate are equivalent is required. It is a must for candidates to have studied Mathematics as a subject at the
Intermediate level and to have attend a minimum of 45% marks in the subject.
