B.Sc
BSc (Computer Science/Electronics/ Mathematics/Statistics)
A two-year multi-disciplinary course of studies including majors in Computer Science/Electronics and
leading to the award of Bachelor of Sciences degree by the University of Peshawar.
The academic programme is supervised by an academic Committee consisting of Dean, Faculty of
Sciences and heads of the Department of Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics and Electronics of
the University of Peshawar.
CAREER PROSPECTS
Computer graduates continue to be in great demand as it is one of the largest growth areas in the world.
The combination of the given disciplines enhance graduate career choices in a number of ways. Firstly, it
provide students a solid background in the field of computer sciences. Secondly, it allows them an open
option of joining either the fields of computer science, electronics, business administration or social
sciences. Typical careers include operational positions in national and international job market in the
same areas
COURSES OF STUDY
Students have to choose one of the following combinations. However, change of combination is
allowed within two weeks of the date of college registration.
Maths A, Maths B & Computer Sc.
Maths A, Computer Sc. & Statistics.
Maths A, Maths B & Statistics.
Maths A, Electronics & Computer Sc.
ELIGIBILITY Candidates must have passed Intermediate with Mathematics/DAE/A-Level examination with no less than at least 2nd division from Board.
